Antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer effects with anthocyanin extracted from purple corn
 

MetaCen Therapeutics and the AGEs Society (led by Chairman Park Myoung-Gyu) have launched ‘Genesis Ace’, a product with anthocyanin as its main ingredient.
Genesis Ace utilizes high-purity anthocyanin extracted from purple corn grown in the pristine environment of Cheorwon, Gangwon Province, to help remove reactive oxygen species (ROS) in the body and alleviate inflammatory responses. The product is particularly noted for its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer effects.
MetaCen Therapeutics stated, “The purple corn was contract-cultivated in collaboration with the Chuncheon Agricultural Technology Center and the Hongcheon Corn Research Institute, ensuring high quality and safety. In particular, the product was designed with a focus on maximizing the bioavailability of anthocyanin by applying poly-gamma-glutamic acid-Si composite pocket transport technology. This technology facilitates the absorption and stable delivery of anthocyanin within the body.”
Additionally, the product contains wheat germ extract, which is said to increase NAD+ levels and decrease NADH levels. This contributes to reducing reductive stress and helps normalize metabolic and immune functions in the body, thereby enhancing the efficacy of anthocyanin.
